We do reverse engineering under contract for companies or individuals where, for whatever reason, prints from the manufacturer are un-available. You may be designing a circuit, and want to avoid violating an existing patent. You may have patents, and want to know if someone is violating same. You may be a tech trying to augment your business by tackling unusual devices. Or you may just be curious about how something works.

  We can take your device , tear it down (usually non-destructively) and return it to you along with a schematic (drawn on a sheet, or many sheets of 8.5" X 11" paper ) of the circuitry. We figure out 90% of the "in-house" numbered chips and while potted modules slow us down a tad, we depot them and include the internal circuitry on your prints.

  Basically, we charge $20.00 per hour, for the three stages involved. If it is to be an non-exclusive draw we charge only for the first two stages, roughing-out and cleaning up the drawing. If it is an exclusive draw then we also charge for the drafting stage of the process. This third stage generally doubles the charges above an non-exclusive job.
